JOHNSON, Ida L., age 71, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2006 in Avon Park, Fla. She was born in Grant, Ala. to James A. and Susanne E. (Burroughs) Walker. She was a Nursery Worker, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1958 coming from Alabama. She was of the Nazarene faith. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Johnson of Avon Park, Martha Wentlandt (David) of Avon Park, and Mary Hawkins (Jerry) of Avon Park; son, Ronnie Johnson of Swearingin, Ala.; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Geren officiating. Burial will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
