HALL _ Ida It is with great sorrow that we announce that our mother, Ida Hall, has gone to be with our Lord on June 5, 2007, at the age of 91 years. Mom was predeceased by Dad, Stanley Hall, in 1993. Mom and Dad were married in 1949 and during their forty-four years together had the unique pleasure of not only living together, but also working together. In 1956 they bought the Dairy Lane in Hillhurst, which they ran until 1964. After that, they had numerous business ventures until 1966, when Mom and Dad took over the operation of food and souvenir concession at the Calgary Zoo, which they managed together for fifteen years until their retirement. Left to mourn Mom's passing are daughters, Judy (Harvey) Pickering of Okotoks, and Patricia Hall of Calgary; grandchildren, Jennifer, Shea and Danielle Pickering; sister Elsie Holdsworth; brother Ronald Luft; sister-in-law Marilynne Hall, all of Calgary, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church (of which she was a life-time member), 204 - 6A Street N.E., Calgary, today, Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., with Interment to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
