AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ida Mary Lou Rogers Carter, devoted wife of 45 years of Ret. MSG Delbert H. Carter, entered into rest on Friday, January 23, 2015. Mrs. Carter, a native of Augusta, was a graduate of Lucy Laney High School. For thirteen years, she traveled abroad with her husband. She retired from Kmart after over twenty years of service. She was a member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Her passions were gardening and her family. Preceding her in death was her daughter, Janet D'Antignac. Other survivors include her daughters, Jan D'Antignac, Augusta, Teri (Griff) Davis-Watson, Nashville, TN; son, Joe Lewis D'Antignac, Atlanta; brother, Albert (Mildred) Rogers, Boston, MA; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and other relatives. No service will be held. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Blvd.
