BERTRAND, Ida - It is with great sadness that the Bertrand family announces the passing of Ida Bertrand on Sunday, May 11, 2014 who will be lovingly remembered by her son Roger and his wife Stephanie. She was the cherished grandmother of Nicole, Greg and Michael and great- grandmother to their 10 children. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Rene, to whom she was married for 70 years. Hardworking and generous, Ida always made family and friends feel welcome. She left us on Mother's Day, a perfect day to remember all the best that was in Ida. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. A celebration of Ida's life will be held at the GLEN OAKS MEMORIAL CHAPEL AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.), on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Blessing and tributes to begin at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date in Quebec.
