Ian A. McDonald July 5, 1937 January 11, 2010 It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Ian on January 11, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate, Annie. Ian was predeceased by his father Alexander, mother Edna, stepfather Delisle Thompson and grandmother Maude (Tosie) Haid. Born in Saskatoon, Ian attended Albert Public School, Nutana and City Park Collegiates. After 35 years working for the city of Saskatoon Ian retired from the Engineering Dept., Traffic Division. Ian's life long love of cars lead him down many roads. He was one of the founding members of the Draggins Rod & Custom Car Club. In 1974, he was instrumental in the formation of the National Fifty 567 Club. Ian and Annie served as president and secretary for the 25 years of the club's existence. Ian's love of travel lead them through over 100,000 miles in their 55' Nomad. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saskatchewan Cancer Society or Saskatoon S.P.C.A.
