MacKENZIE _ Ian William MacKenzie January 15, 1922 - November 26, 2003 Beloved father of John (Cynthia) MacKenzie passed away peacefully November 26, 2003 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Hulda in 1976. Ian is survived by his sister Isobel Gillan of Victoria, grandsons Anthony (Marilyn) Bontrager, Jason (Jennifer) Bontrager. Great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Dylan and Patrick. His devoted companion of 20 years, Elsie Workman, her children, Rod, Bob, Dennis and Vada (Workman) Martelli and the Martelli children Scott and Sarah, and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Victoria and a resident of Surrey for over 48 years, Ian will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A very special thank you to the Royal Columbian Hospital, Renal Unit, especially Dr. Chan, Ina, Donna and Susan or "Master Sergeant" as dad fondly referred to her. As per Dad's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
