IRENE REED STACEY DALLAS, TX - Mrs. Irene Reed Stacey passed away in Dallas, TX on Nov. 7, 2010. She was the daughter of Luton and Teresa Reed and graduated from Burlington High School in 1942. She was a 1946 graduate of the University of Vermont, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was employed by General Electric Company, Schenectady, N.Y. in the calculating section. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin M. Stacey; and her sister, Mary Sue Reed Laban. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Luton R. Reed, Manlius, N.Y.; and by her children, William (Caroline) Stacey of Opelika, Ala., Gail (Brian) Taylor of Germantown, Md., James Stacey of Dallas, Richard (Kimberly) Stacey of Coppell, TX, Edwin (Kyle) Stacey of Richardson, TX, Raymond (Julie) Stacey of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lynn Stacey of Dallas; by a granddaughter, Jessica Taylor; and 13 grandsons, William, Max, Stephen, Matthew, Peter, Jeffrey, Nathan, Garrett, Timothy, Brian, and Mitchell Stacey and Christopher and Andrew Taylor. Contributions in her memory can be made to the charity of choice with acknowledgment made to Mrs. Kyle Stacey, 803 Morningstar Drive, Richardson, TX 75081.
