Hugh S. Morris EAST MILLINOCKET, MAINE - Hugh S. Morris, 74, passed away Friday, January 7, 2005 at his home. He was born February 14, 1930 in Upper Main River, NB. He was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Fahey) Morris. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Blair Morris, Morris Plains, New Jersey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Esther; daughter, Lynn and David Nicholson; son, Thomas and Mary Morris, all of East Millinocket, Maine; daughter, Kathy and Peter Truslow of Saco, Maine; and son Steven of East Millinocket, Maine; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Marjorie Lynch-Blosse of Henderson, NC; sister, Mrs. Percy Beers (Phyllis) of Smiths Corner, NB; brother, Harvey and Virginia Morris of Moncton; brother, Gerald of Portland, Maine; brother, Thomas and Mary Morris of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia; and his twin brother, Harold Morris of Dover, NJ. He was a decorated Korean War Veteran, and member of the American Legion. He was a long time employee of Great Northern Paper Company and member of the carpenter and Joiner's Union. Hugh was a spiritual man, an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. All were touched by his gentle smile, authentic kindness, good humor and of course, his open kitchen policy. He will be sorely missed by all. Spring interment will be in East Millinocket, Maine.
