<!-- FH = TURNER FUNERAL HOME -->Mr. Howard Glenn Owens, 65, a resident of Wetumpka died Thursday September 27, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Owens is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Mary Sudie Owens. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Spivey Owens; two children, Heather Owens and Justin Owens; sister, Margie (Joe) Poole; and a brother, Paul F. (Oleta) Owens. Active pallbearers will be Shelby Cauthen, Joe Poole, Paige Owens, Jim Stroud, Robbie Crosby and Tony Singleton. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Hospice Advantage for their loving care during Glenn's illness. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any memorial donations be made to your local Humane Society or to Hospice Advantage.
