Horace Wilson Jones, 74, of 101 Victoria Way, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at his home. Husband of Audrey CarverJones, he was born in Pelham, a son of Bennie Stephen and Iness Brookshire Jones. Mr. Jones retired after 49 years from Southern Sash & Door Co. and Addison Corp., and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Deborah E. Reynolds, and husband, Richard, of Myrtle Beach; sons, Horace Stephen Jones, and wife, Polly, and Dana Glenn Jones, and wife, Terri, all of Powdersville; brothers, Harold F. Jones, and wife, Etta, of Salisbury, Fred W. Jones, and wife, Evelyn, of Taylors, and Bobby E. Jones, and wife, Angelle, of Moonville; grandchildren, Alison Jones of Mauldin, Ashley Alexander, and husband, Joey, of Powdersville, Erin Jones of Powdersville, Kevin Jones of Atlanta, Ga., and Paul Reynolds, and wife, Polly, of San Diego, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Alexis Jones of Liberty and Zion Lee Alexander of Powdersville. He was predeceased by sisters, Christine Sorgee and Lois Rushton; and four brothers, J. Roy Jones, Mack C. Jones, Claude Jones and Gettis O. Jones. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Funeral services will be Friday, at 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home, with burial at Graceland Cemetery, West.
