<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->April 29, 1994-Dec 4, 2014 Hope Elise Johnson was received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 4, 2014 in Auburn, AL at the age of 20. Hope is survived by her parents, Susan and Cortney, and her sister Lacey of Trussville; her brother Logan, sister-in-law Natalie, and her precious niece Leighton of Auburn; her grandparents Betty and James Gilbert of Trussville; W.A. Johnson (Janice) of Pinson and Peggy Elkins of Chattanooga; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her boyfriend Griffin Wright of Trussville. Hope was born on April 29, 1994 and graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School in 2012. She was the varsity cheerleading captain, a favorite of her teachers, and an honor graduate. She was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville. Hope attended Auburn University where she was a junior majoring in Computer Science, a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, and an employee of the Auburn University Library. Hope is remembered by all who knew her for her contagious laugh and radiant smile. Friends remember her as a joyful example of Christ's love, letting His light shine through her with ever-present cheerfulness and compassion. She loved animals, hiking, coffee shops, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her beloved friends. We are all lucky to have shared time on this earth with such a kind and beautiful spirit. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8 from 12:00-2:00 at First Baptist Church Trussville and the funeral will begin at 2:00. The graveside service will directly follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens.
