Funeral for Hollis Leon Smith, 75, of Eva will be Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Chapel with David Tubbs officiating. Burial will be in Flint Creek Cemetery. Viewing on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Smith died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Cullman County to Cople Lee Smith and Etta Shoemake Smith. He was a retired supervisor from 3M and a 20 year retiree from the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church in Eva.Survivors include his wife, Christine Smith; one son, Michael (Lee Anne) Smith of Decatur; one daughter, Janice (Glenn) Campbell of Eva; two brothers, Orvil Smith and Hanford Smith; and three grandchildren, Sean Campbell, Benjamin Brook and Matthew Smith.
