JOHNSON, HERSHEL RAY, 83, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006. He was a retired employee of Alcan Aluminum where he worked for 35 years, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Regina Johnson; three sons, Darrell W. (Nancy), Douglas R. (Elaine) and Donald L. Johnson (Kathy); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara McCoy (Jerry). Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -8 p.m. on Thursday.
