HENRY, Herman Samuel Peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 25, 2005 in Sidney, BC. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife Dorothy of 53 years; children Vern, Dan, Lyle, Curtis, Rudy, Bea, Lila, Herman Jr, Terry Ann, Donna, Mark; 34 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lila, Cecelia, Moe, Sam, Eva, Janet, along with many other family and friends. Ham was a proud Canadian who served in WWII. He was a champion soccer player and was captain of the Victoria Allstars when they defeated Fulham in 1951 and the team was subsequently inducted into the Hall Of Fame. He was also a champion puller and won many trophies. Ham leaves many wonderful memories of his love for family, his devotion to grandchildren, his strong work ethic and his sense of humour.
