HENRY R. MICHAUD MADAWASKA - Henry R. Michaud passed away March 11, 2008, at an Edmundston health care facility. He was born July 17, 1931, in St. David, the son of Magloire and Melvina (Pelletier) Michaud. Henry was often seen at McDonalds with his friends every morning. He enjoyed bowling and was a past member of Madawaska Fire Department. He was also a member of Madawaska Knights of Columbus. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Germaine (Castonguay) Michaud of Madawaska; five daugthers, Marie Mai Bosse and her husband, Gerald, of Edmundston, Claudette Michaud of St. Agatha, Florence Towers and her husband, John, of Gorham, Pauline Raymond and her special friend, Rival Boucher, of Edmundston and Michelle Russell and her husband, Robert, of Madawaska; two sons, Paul Michaud and his wife, Nancy, of Madawaska and Clemont Michaud and his wife, Lorie Ann, of Madawaska; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bertrand Michaud and his wife, Ella, of Springfield, Vt., Maglorie Michaud Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Cromwell, Conn., and Abel Michaud and his special friend, Augusta "Auggie," of Madawaska. He was predeceased by one sister, Florence Beaulieu; four brothers, Normand, Armand, Zenus and Fortuna Michaud. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
