Henry James "Jay" Harvey II, 53, Palmetto and formerly of Sarasota, died Jan. 12, 2005. He was born Nov. 4, 1951, in Pittsburgh and came to the area four years ago from Washington, D.C. He was a visual artist and worked for National Public Radio for 13 years. Survivors include a cousin, Ed Beasley of Tampa. The services will be private.
