Hellen (Jones) Troxell Adams, age 95 of Lexington (native of Drennon) passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Daughter of the late John Turner and Hattie Lee (Cravens) Jones, she was a member of New Castle First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter,Martha T. Elston of Bethlehem; son, Paul Allen Troxell (Kathleen) of Olive Hill; sister, Jessica Burton of Ohio; brother, Kenneth Dale Jones of Lockport; 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Hellen was preceded in death by four sons: Richard, Coleman, Sanford & Arthur Troxell; daughter, Wanda Faye Troxell; and grand-daughter, Frances Troxell DellingerFuneral services were at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by J.T. Stinson of Pleasureville. Interment was in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until service-time on Tuesday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
