May 23, 2004 Helen Williams, 92, of North Syracuse, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Scranton, she was an area resident since the late 1940's and had a summer camp at Chedmardo's, near Pulaski. She attended Pitcher Hill Community Church. She was a member of Salina Civic Center and North Syracuse Seniors and the Young at Heart. She bowled in the 1960's and 1970's in the husband and wife League of Strike & Spare Lanes. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Thomas, on December 7, 1973 and by a son, Thomas Donald on January 29, 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Marlene Bodner of Philadelphia, PA; a son, Robert Williams of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Fergerson Funeral Home. Rev. Nolan D. Palsma will officiate. Burial will be Friday at 12 noon in the Shady Lane Cemetery, Chinchilla, PA.
