Helen "Virginia" Williams - LUDOWICI - Helen "Virginia" Williams, age 76, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after a long illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Liberty County. She retired from Post Exchange at Fort Stewart, was assistant manager of Pat's Hallmark Shop in Hinesville, and also worked for Stacy's Florist. She was a member of Allenhurst Presbyterian Church. Surviving is her husband, Billy Williams of Ludowici; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Mills of Jesup; one brother, Harry Skipper of Allenhurst; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2008 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Troost officiating. Burial will be in Allenhurst Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Morris, Randy McMillan, David McDonald, Hal Skipper, Dale Parker and Jimmy Horne.
