Jan. 5, 1925 - May 24, 2011 Helen Jacobs Williams, 86, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Huntsville High School. She was the co-founder of "The Christian Bookstore" and worked for a real estate agency. Her hobbies included bowling, tennis and bridge. She volunteered for Gray Ladies at Huntsville Hospital, served as a Sunday school teacher and hostess to missionaries. Mrs. Williams showed charity and hospitality to newlyweds, new parents, the sick and those who were grieving. She was preceded in death by her son, James Tillman Williams III. Survivors include her husband, J. Tillman Williams Jr.; daughter, Sallie W. Dean and husband Hilton of Nashville; son, Joel Stephen Williams and wife Dail of Florence; grandchildren, Kathryn Dean Roberson and husband John of Nashville, Gary H. Dean and wife Susan of Nashville, Christi Williams Lambert and husband Will of Florence, and Stephanie Williams Vann and husband Sean of Montreal, Canada; and great-grandchildren, Will, Ben, Jacob and Hank Roberson, Caroline, Tillman and William Dean and Madalyn and Lane Lambert. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Dr. Joel Stephen Williams officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be G. Hilton Dean, John E. Roberson, Will Roberson, Gary H. Dean, Will Lambert and Ben Roberson. Honorary pallbearers are Sean Vann, George Huckaby, Gordon Ellett, Carey Lee Ellett and Cecil Raney. Memorials may be made to Childhaven, P.O.
