Obituary of Helen Winter


WINTER, Helen (nee Reimneitz) On September 13, 2003 at the age of 59 years in Kamloops, B.C. God called her name so softly that only she could hear the angels drawing near to carry her under their wings Home to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of Bob Winter, Williams Lake, B.C. Precious mother of Lorie (Mrs. Bill Friezen), of Manitoba, Wayne of Prince George, B.C., and Linda of Prince George, B.C. The most beautiful grandmother of Justin, and Mary Ann of Manitoba, Jessica, Candice and Amanda of Prince George, B.C. Pre-deceased by her father and mother, Mr. Emile and Rose (Deault) Reimneitz, and father-in-law Roy Winter. Pre-deceased by sisters Jean D'Arc Reimneitz, Florida (Mrs. Louis Purdy), Solange (Mrs. Joe Riou) and brothers Jules and Ernest Reimneitz. Now left to mourn are brothers and sisters, Theresa and husband Andy Thelland of Amherstburg, Rosaire and wife Adele Reimneitz of Windsor, Cecile and husband Ross Shepley of Harrow, Andrew and wife Eleanor Reimneitz of Surrey, B.C. Daughter-in-law of Alice and Ken Hodgkinson of Windsor. She leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. Cremation took place at Kamloops, B.C. There will be a Memorial Service for Helen on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Amherstburg. All are welcome. God Bless.
