HELEN CLARK -TITUSVILLE - Helen W. Clark, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Vista Manor in Titusville, FL. She was born on June 11, 1916, in Hale, MO, the daughter of Lee H. Ward and Reba (Smith) Ward. She graduated High School, and was employed as an Insurance Underwriter with Modern Woodsman of America Insurance Company, for 18 years. Helen married Lawrence Clark on May 6,1936 in Missouri, and together they raised three sons. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, traveling the U.S. and a trip to Germany, was a precious memory. Also playing euchre, during her lunch hour, with other employees was an everyday event. Helen is survived by her sons, Lawrence Clark and wife, Rita of Titusville, FL, and Steve (Cheryl) of Davenport, IA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Clark in 1984, and her son, Richard Clark in 2006. A Celebration of Helen's Life will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2008, at 3 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home, 2400 S. Washington Avenue, Titusville, FL. with Chaplain Bill Calle, officiating. A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., prior to services. Memorial contributions to Hospice of St. Francis, would be greatly appreciated. Newcomer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
