Obituary of Helen-Virginia Mitchell

Funeral services for Helen Virginia Mitchell, 92, will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Revs. John Simmons and Ted Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to services. Mrs. Mitchell died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Autumn Cove. She is survived by her son, Eugene Douglas (Doug) Mitchell, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Amanda M. (Mandee) Brown and her husband, Koven, of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell and his wife, Kelly, Ashlee Flanary and her husband, Mike and Emily Avery and her husband, James; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Savannah Goodwin, Tyler Brown, Cael and Blake Flanary. Pallbearers will be Austin Goodwin, Kevin Goodwin, James Avery, Mike Flanary, Bob Bishop and Brandon Mitchell. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Mitchell; a granddaughter, Allison Brown and her brother and sister.
