<!-- FH = Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown -->Helen Standridge Williams, 89, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Greenville Place Assisted Living.Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late C. Clyde and Lona Ellison Elliott.Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Glenda McMillen and husband, Gary, of Cumming, GA; a son, Kenneth Standridge and wife, Judy, of Greenville; a grandson, Scott Standridge and wife, Allison, of Greenville; a granddaughter, Lori Brown and husband, Aaron, of Roswell; three great grandchildren, Caleb Standridge, Abigale Standridge and Connor Brown; a niece, Suzanne Underwood; and a sister-in-law, Betty Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Leroy Standridge; and a brother, Charles B. Elliott.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice, 775 Spartan Blvd., Suite 101, Spartanburg, SC 29301. Visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel.
