MILLER Helen Sophie Miller, age 70, of Oxford, died on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at Waterbury Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1932, to the late George and Virginia Parthenios in Allentown, Pa. Before retiring, she was the former owner of Princess Beauty Salon in Milford. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Jimmy Miller; a son, Jim Miller, president of Yale Pest Elimination of New Haven, and his wife, Michelle, of Oxford; and grandchildren, Jenna, Cassandra and James Miller III, all of Oxford. Calling hours are on Sunday, January 19, 2003, at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford, from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2003, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
