Helen P. Peters, 90     PORTLAND -- Helen P. Peters, 90, of Clinton St., passed away peacefully on Sept. 12, 2007, following a brief illness.      She was born in Nashua, N.H., the daughter of George and Pauline Pitarys. She graduated from Portland High School. She was a devoted wife to Petro C. Peters who passed away in 1981, and a devoted mother to her two children, James Peters of Pennsylvania, and Paula Goodman of New York. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Scontras of Biddeford; and five grandchildren.      Visiting hours will be held form 6-8 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 14, at Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Pleasant St., Portland.
