HELEN NEVEDA WILLIAMS Helen Neveda Williams, 84, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009, in Sebring, Fla. She was born August 15, 1924, in Skirum, Ala., August 15, 1924, to Bud and Imogene (Young) Rucks. Helen was a homemaker, and was of the Episcopal faith. She was a member of the Avon Park Gourmet Club, Pinecrest Country Club, Avon Park Inner Wheel. After moving to Florida in the 1930' s, she and her family were involved continuously in the dairy business in central and south Florida. She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family and friends, and had been a resident of the Avon Park area since 1964, coming from Pompano Beach, Fla. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Wright (Joe) of Avon Park, Fla; grand-son, Charley Wright of Avon Park, Fla.; sister, Saba Curren of Okeechobee, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles R. Williams. Graveside services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2009, in Bougainvillea Cemetery, with Father James Kurtz officiating. Following the graveside service, family members and friends will gather noon-2 p.m. at the home of Joe and Suzanne Wright, 1519 Lake Lotela Drive, Avon Park, Fla.
