KUPJETZ, Helen Mary (nee Newman) On the beautiful sunny day of September 10th, 2008, in her beautiful home in the country, at the young age of 47, surrounded by her loving family, our dear Helen and mom passed away peacefully from her lengthy battle with cancer. Loving wife and best friend to Manfred, and loving and proud mother of Daniel and Michael. Daughter of Don Newman and the late Betty of Waterloo, daughter-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Walter Kupjetz. Sister of Ross (Marilyn) of Waterloo, Judy (Rick), Carol (Doug), Debbie (Jim), Rick (Peggy) of Ottawa and Steve of Calgary. She will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends of Wal-Mart Orleans. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Saturday, September 13, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Cancer Research Fund.
