Helen Marie Townsend, 84, widow of Jack R. Townsend, of 450 Glenn Ferry Road, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Brookside Nursing Center in Anderson. Born in Yukon, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Mihalo Shestko. Survivors: Daughters, Eileen Baumgartel of Fair Play and June Weletz of North Hills, Pa.; a sister, Mary Etzel, of North Hills, Pa.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
