March 26, 2007 Helen Mae Payne Carter, born January 15, 1914 to Amos and Elizabeth Payne, Himansville, NY. She entered into her eternal reward on March 26, 2007 at age 93. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon C. Carter. Surviving: Five children, Carlton J. (Dora) Carter of Bath, NY, Shirley (Paul) Mann of Orting, WA, Lewis J. (Beryle) Carter of Syracuse, William R. Carter of Canandaigua and Holly E. (Gerald) Blank of Wilmore, KY; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one sister, Estelle L. Holton of Baldwinsville. Numerous nieces and nephews. Services: Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Gates Funeral Home, Inc. Spring burial will be in Chase Cemetery, Lysander.
