MACKENZIE _ Helen Louise It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Mackenzie on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in the Strathmore Hospital at the age of 84 years. She is survived and dearly loved by Ralph, her husband of sixty-five years; sister Mabel Gooch; sister-in-law Ruth Hellevang; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Penny; grandchildren, Marc and Treena (Sarah, Amanda, Tanner), Derek and Leigh Anne (Blair, Austin, Piper), Amber and Brad Rhodes (Kole), Mace and Maria; son-in-law, Hal Lust; grandchildren, Deanna and Clarence (Sabrina, Maria) Kooistra, Bonnie and Rob (Emma) Gilmore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Alma Mae Lust; sisters, Anna Laughlin and Ruby Wyatt; brothers, Oscar Hellevang, Albert Hellevang, and Harold Hellevang predeceased her. A special thanks to the nursing staff and the many doctors at the Strathmore Hospital for their care of Helen, as well as the attentions of Dr. Avramenko, who was her family physician. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Carseland Community Hall at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Jim Rilling officiating.
