Helen M. Winter, 72, Venice, died July 26, 2005. She was born July 8, 1933, in Anderson, Ind., and came to Venice in 2004 from Bullhead City, Ariz. She retired after 10 years at Wal-Mart. Survivors include daughters Julie Vahle of Nokomis and Karen Bailey of Westland, Mich.; sons Mike Bray of Inkster, Mich., Larry Bray of Morley, Mich., John Bray of Arizona, Lewis Bray of North Port and Bruce Bray of Frazier Bottom, W.Va.; sisters Sandra Strothers of Nokomis, Joan Hendershot of Webster and Kay Whitehead of Westland; brothers Larry Wright of Nokomis and Raymond Wright of Princeton, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be private. National Cremation Society, Venice, is in charge.
