January 19, 2009 Helen M. Bennett, 94, of Syracuse, died on Monday, January 19, 2009. She was born on October 22, 1914 in Sherburne, NY to Ernest and Mary Miller and graduated from Charwicks H.S. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and a widow of Eric L. Bennett who died in 1982. She is survived by her son, Roger E. Bennett of Xenia, OH; her daughter, Arline B. Geraty of Syracuse; a sister, Jane Thomas of New Hartford, NY; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, with her grandson, Pastor Shawn Geraty, conducting the services.
