Obituary of Helen-Lucille-Beard Carter

MCDONOUGH, Ga. - Graveside Services for Mrs. Helen Lucille Beard Carter, 89, of Alexandria Blvd., McDonough, Georgia, who died November 16, 2006, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Mrs. Carter was a native of Aiken County, SC, a former resident of Ellenton and Thomson, having made McDonough her recent home. She was a Baptist, the wife of the late Cecil Carter, Sr. and mother of the late Robert Neil Carter. Survivors include a son, Norman C. Carter, Jr., Seattle, WA; two daughters, Carolyn Thompson and Shelby Cathcart, both of McDonough, GA; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:30.
