Peters, Helen LeeSept. 12, 1918 - Dec. 19, 2010Helen Lee Peters, 92, of Sarasota, formerly of Desoto County, died Dec. 19, 2010.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home on today. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Palms Memorial Park in Sarasota. Survivors include her daughter Tenia Aylor of Spring Hill; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Preceded in death by her husband Orie and daughter Nyoka Porter. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Helen was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church, and retired from Peterson Manufacturing in 1983.
