TOWNSEND, Helen Joyce January 19, 1928-May 17, 2010 Born in Pictou, NS. to Herbert and Ruth Harper. Graduate of Montreal General School of Nursing class of 1951. Preceeded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald Alexander Townsend and her sister, Norma. Loving mother to Mark, Dan, Mary-Ellen, Dawna-Marie and Kelly. Survived by her sisters, Betty and Phyllis. Passed away at home in Newport, OR from Alzheimer's disease. Celebration of life to be held at 1014 NE EADS ST, Newport OR, 97365 on May 22nd, 2011. Rest well, sweet Helen-- our beautiful mother, sister, friend.
