Helen Johnson, 91, Venice, died Jan. 21, 2003. She was born May 7, 1911, in Syracuse, N.Y., and came to Venice a year ago. She lived in Waynesville, N.C., and Leesburg for 20 years. She was a member of various choir groups and was an organist. Survivors include a daughter, Carol A. Saykally of Venice; a son, Robert C. of Delmar, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be later in New York. Farley Funeral Home and Crematory in Venice is in charge.
