Helen J. (Boudreau) Thibodeau Hendersonlifelong Fitchburg resident FITCHBURG -- Helen J. (Boudreau) Thibodeau Henderson, 94, of Fitchburg, died peacefully Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at her residence.Her husband, Harry R. Henderson, died in November 2003.Mrs. Henderson was born in Fitchburg, December 11, 1920, the daughter of John T. and Azelie (LeBlanc) Boudreau and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident.Helen worked many years as a winder tender at Fitchburg Yarn Company. In later years she worked as a server for the former Leo J. Richard Catering Company in Fitchburg.She leaves five nieces and nephews, Jane Cook of Winchester, John Carignan and Michelle A. Begnoche both of Fitchburg, James Boudreau of Carlisle and Marie N. Stathas of Leominster. She also leaves several grandnieces and grandnephews.She was the sister of the late Gerard Boudreau, Evangeline M. Carignan both of Fitchburg and Marguerite Guthrie of Ayer.She was an active member of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg. An accomplished cook, she enjoyed cooking for family, friends, neighbors and the homeless. She enjoyed spending time during the summer at the beach and wintering in Islamorada Key, Florida.HENDERSON -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:30 Saturday, January 10th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg.Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.Mrs. Henderson's family will receive family and friends from 11 AM - 12 Noon Saturday at the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg.
