COKER Helen J. Adams, age 81, of Coker, passed away Feb. 16, 2009, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Tindle and Rev. Ransey O'Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Ryans Crossing with Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home of Columbiana directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Adams was born September 16, 1927, in Straven, Ala.She is survived by her children, Linda M. Hughes, Martha R. Walker, Dwight and Linda Wilson, LaJuana and Leonard Bailey; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Pete Johnson; sisters, Mary Roman, Aetna Holsomback, Joan Johnson; and a host of other family and friends.Special thank you to Hospice of West Alabama, residents of Glen Haven Nursing & Rehab Center, also Dr. Margaret Morr, Dr. Anand Pandey and Mrs. Adams' favorite nurses.The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or a favorite charity.
