MILLER, Helen I. A longtime resident of Christian Hollow Rd. passed peacefully at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Facility, Wellsboro, Monday morning, September 1, 2008 where she had been receiving care at the age of 87. Born on June 30, 1921 in Bentley Creek, PA; Helen was the daughter of Horace & Loretta Snyder Cilly. She was married to Darwin Miller in 1941 and he predeceased her in 1989. Helen was a homemaker, she enjoyed reading, and provided a comfortable home. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Franklin St. Church. Surviving is her loving family, a son, M. Darwin (Carol) Miller, West Elmira; 4 grandchildren, Barry Miller, Shawna (Rick) Comfort, Beth (Dave) Hodge and Aaron Miller; 2 great grandchildren, Adam Comfort and Tyler Sparling; a sister, Lucille Dunn, Elmira; a brother, Armin (Betty) Silley, Montour Falls; nieces, nephews and family friends who will be received at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens, 1126 Broadway, Southport on Thursday afternoon, September 4, 2008 between the hours of 3-5 p.m. Funeral services will follow the time of visitation at 5:15 p.m. with committal prayers in the Gardens. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park at her families convenience. In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was predeceased by her brother, Eugene Silley who gave his life for his country during WWII.
