Helen I. Clark, 93SANFORD - Helen I. Clark, 93, a lifelong resident of Sanford, died on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford.She was born in Sanford on June 15, 1912, the daughter of Burt and Alice Johnson Goodrich.Helen was a graduate of Sanford High School in 1930 and lived on Lower Main Street her entire life.She was predeceased by her son, Wallace (Buddy) Clark Jr. in 2001; and her husband of 67 years, Wallace (Mushy) Clark Sr. in 2002.She is survived by her daughter, Judith Turner of Sanford; five grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Oakdale in Sanford to be followed by a service in celebration of her life.The family suggest that those of wish may make donations to the activities program at:The Greenwood Center1142 Main St.Sanford, Maine 04073Arrangements are under the guidance of Independent Death Care of Maine, 471 Deering Ave., Portland.
