MILLER Helen Haydu Miller, age 88, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late George S. Miller, died peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2005, in Cambridge Manor. Born in Fairfield, Mrs. Miller was a lifelong Fairfield Town resident. She had worked for the General Electric Co., of Bridgeport, from which she retired after many years. Helen is survived by her brother, John Haydu, formerly of Fairfield; a sister, Elizabeth Balog, of Fairfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. Auntie Helen spent her lifetime devoted to her family. She enjoyed crafts and baking her Hungarian specialties. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2005, at 9:15 a.m., in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center, and at 10 a.m., in Holy Family Church, Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Burial to follow in Lawncroft Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4 - 8 p.m.
