NEW LONDON -- Helen L. Gould, 87, died May 16, 2008, at New London Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 6, 1920, in Hillsborough, to Elmer Gould and Della (Flanders) (Gould) Trottier. She was a member of Mercy Hathaway DAR chapter. She was a benefactor of many local charities and an avid bird lover. She will be greatly missed by all. Family members include a son, William Gould of Warner; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kay Langford and Irene Haase, both of of Live Oak, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. SERVICES: Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Henniker New Cemetery, Henniker. Merle Dustin, chaplin of Mercy Hathaway White Chapter DAR, will officiate.
