HARRINGTON, HELEN GERTRUDE - The funeral of the late Helen G. Harrington of Saint John, was held on Monday, August 25, 2008, in the chapel of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, where the service was conducted by Pastor Phillip Penny and Pastor Ruth Langlais. The organist was Don Flewelling, who accompanied soloist, Cindy Hampton. Donations made in memory of Helen were given to: Forest Hills Baptist Church; Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children; Loch Lomond Villa Foundation; Kidney Foundation of New Brunswick; John T. McMillan Junoir Memorial Fund; Canadian Bible Society; Canadian Cancer Society; Edith Avenue Baptist Church; St. Thomas Anglican Church; Heart and Stroke Foundation New Brunswick; Bible League of Canada; South End Day Care INC; Gideon Bibles International including one from Congregation, Members of Edith Avenue United Baptist Church. Interment took place in Fernhill Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26. The family would like to thank the Loch Lomond Villa staff for the kind and caring way they cared for our mother.
