Helen Franskevicz Davie Anderson formerly of Hancock, NY Helen went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2009 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Born May 25, 1922 to the late Kostany and Telka (Yankowski) Franskevicz, she lived most of her life on Sands Creek Rd., Hancock. Surviving are her five children and their families, Donna and Gideon Leiby of Monrovia, CA, Betty and Art Evans of Windsor, NY, Dorothy and Robert Rowe of Pensacola, FL, Gary and Diane Davie of Deposit, NY, and Ken and Lori Davie of Roxbury, NY; also her surviving sister, Anna Mapes of Walton, NY. She was predeceased by her husbands, Floyd Davie and Harold Anderson. Also predeceased by her sisters, Jennie Seaman, Frances Benowski, Mary Verry, Nellie Danowski, Tofka Zaczek; and her brother, Edward Franskevicz. Helen enjoyed the outdoors, playing bingo, auctions, collecting S&amp;P shakers and spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Thank you to Susquehanna Nursing Home, especially everyone on the 2nd floor, for their excellent care and compassion for our Mom.
