MILTON MILLS — Helen F. Ferguson, 91, died Oct. 19, 2010, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Elinore and Pete Dame in Brooksville, Fla.Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 17, 1919, she was the daughter of William and Elma (Newcomb) Neary. She lived in Milton Mills for most of her life and in recent years lived in Brooksville, with her good friend and companion, Frank Smith. Camping was her passion, she and Frank spending summers camping in Lebanon, Maine. She was a retired shoe shop worker.She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, William Neary and George Neary, her late husband, Frederick (Ted) Ferguson and her sons, L.J. Kraus, Leonard Kraus, Scott Ferguson and grandson, Ramie Downs. She is survived by her two daughters, Elinore and husband, Pete Dame of Milton Mills, and Brooksville, Helen and husband Henry Ouellette of Sanbornville, and Brooksville, also eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.As per her request, there are no calling hours or services. Interment will be private in the spring at Milton Mills Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central St., Farmington.
