Helen Eunice Virtue 1927-2003 Helen Eunice Virtue, 76, of Gunningsville passed away on December 4, 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Albert on September 23, 1927 the daughter of the late Alfred and Josephine (Terrace) Stuart. She attended the Harvey School later going to the Riverside-Albert School where she graduated. She went to the Saint John Business College, later working in an Insurance office for a short time, then worked in CN accounting until she retired. She attended the Lower Coverdale Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by her husband, John D. Virtue; daughter, Betty Fowler (Bruce) of Lakeville, Ontario; son Wesley Virtue of Edmonton, Alberta; sister Betty Carson (Bob) of Moncton; her granddaughter Melissa Fowler; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by a sister Evelyn Dempsey. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, December 9, 2003 at 3pm with Rev. Gordon Horsman officiating. Interment will be held in the Bay View Cemetery, Harvey. Following the service, the family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the funeral home for further fellowship, sharing of memories and refreshments.
