HAMDEN - Helen E. DeAngelis Williams, 94, of 10 Roosevelt St., Hamden died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009 in Whitney Manor. Wife of the late, Joseph Williams Jr.; daughter of the late Dominic and Angela Longo DeAngelis. Mother of Joseph (Barbara) Williams III., of Westbrook, Annmarie (William) Duffy, of Hamden, and Richard (Gail Kenyon) Williams, of Florida; also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel DeChello. Prior to her retirement Helen was a bank teller for Fleet Bank for over 20 years. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed. Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Road (Rte 80), East Haven, Monday at 10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
