Helen-E. Hadden, born in 1933, daughter of E. -Hobart and Ruby-Thompson-Hadden, died on December 23, 2006 at 73 years old.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Miss Helen Elizabeth Hadden, 79, entered into rest on Saturday December 23, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. A native of Gibson, Georgia she was the daughter of the late E. Hobart Hadden and Ruby Thompson Hadden Serre. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 30, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Elliott Sons Telfair Street Chapel with Mr. Roger Wolfgram officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Although Helen lived most of her life enjoying the beautiful azalea's and dogwoods of Augusta, at the age of 73, she embarked on a new adventure, moving to Lexington, Kentucky where she enjoyed the remainder of her life. Survivors include two brothers, John Hadden (Frankie) of LaGrange, Georgia, Thomas Hadden of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Ollie Wanner (Percy) of Augusta, Georgia; two aunts, Dahlia Hadden of Stapleton, Georgia, Evelyn Smith (Ray) of St. George, Utah; and several nieces and nephews. Helen loved life, people and the Lord. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Road, Wilmore, Kentucky 40390.
