CARPENTER, Helen E. Age 95 of Bridge Street, Valois, New York, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, in the comfort of her home. Mrs. Carpenter is survived by her son, Alvie (Ann) Carpenter of Peterborough, NH; daughters, Elfa Mae McDonald of Reading, PA, Gloria (Angelo) Pangello of Montour Falls, NY, and Mary (John) Doyle of Cazenovia, NY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ell Nora Davenport of Cayuta, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Arthur, and son, Maurice, predeceased Mrs. Carpenter. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Friday, December 21, 2007, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her funeral and committal service will be held there following visitation at 7:00 p.m. The Rev.
